TEOTITLAN, OAXACA, MEXICO - AUGUST 9: Francisco Bautista, 86, and his wife, Augustina, 84. Francisco and Augustina are the last of a generation of Zapotec people in Teotitlan who speak only Zapotec (save for a few words in Spanish), and who dress in the traditional fashion. Like many people their age, they live in a multi-generational home, and as is the custom in Zapotec culture, are valued and exalted members of their family, consulted on all decisions regarding the home and heavily involved in child-rearing. The Bautistas live in a home with four generations. Photo by Sara Naomi Lewkowicz/Getty Images Reportage
